The Junior Class raised money for their After Prom at Turkey Bingo this weekend. They also collected donations of nonperishable food items for the local food pantry. We appreciate everyone who came and showed their support.
Mr. Bill Kitchenmaster is the K-12 P.E. teacher at Andes Central School and grew up in Hawarden, Iowa. He attended Wayne State College and earned his degree in Elementary Education.
Happy Thanksgiving! The library will be closed on Thursday and Friday the 27th and 28th for the Thanksgiving holiday. We will open on Saturday, the 29th.

The Lake Andes Library held a Lego 'Christmas Scene' Contest for students in grades K-12. Students were tasked to write a short Christmas story, then build a Christmas Scene with Lego depicting their story.
President Jamie Soukup gave a warm welcome to the Wagner Rotarians and three visiting Seniors from the Wagner Community School. The Rotary Grace was spoken, and Assistant Song leader Jeff Doom guided the membership in singing “Smile.
Greer Unit#11 American Legion Auxiliary held their monthly meeting on November 20 at the Post Home with 11 members present.
Vice President Juanita Stone called the meeting to order, Chaplain Margie Stone read the opening prayer.
American Legion Greer Post #11 held its monthly meeting on November 20 with 32 members and 3 SAL members in attendance. Commander Rados thanked the cooks for the delicious Thanksgiving meal as well as the Auxiliary for the cake celebrating the 106th anniversary of the American Legion.

Christmas Poinsettias from one of Mensch's Greenhouseswill go out to greenhouses around the area, including the the Flower Shop in Avon.
The 2016 fall crop reporting deadline is November 15th.
The Tabor Pioneers 4-H Club members received a FCSLA Life Matching Funds check of $600 from Dennis L. Povondra, FCSLA National Auditor. The event was held at the Takota Park Ball Field in Tabor during the week of May 19 - 21, 2025. Girls Softball and Boys Baseball games were played during the week.

A time capsule from 1989 was opened during the Pickstown Veteran’s Day Program. Found in the capsule was a t-shirt, a preserved photograph, an excerpt the Wagner Post, and a Centennial Celebration flyer.
