    WAGNER SOFTBALL HOLD PARENT'S NIGHT MAY 21ST

    The Wagner softball team honored team parents during their game Thursday evening, May 21. Senior Libby Kotab, the lone senior on this year’s roster, was also recognized for her dedication and leadership throughout her softball career with the Red Raiders.

    POPPY POSTER WINNERS

    Just before Memorial Day each year, the Wagner American Legion Auxiliary sponsors a Poppy Poster Contest for grades 2 to 12 and a Poppy Coloring Contest for first grade and kindergarten. The posters and coloring pages are displayed for Memorial Day in most businesses in Wagner.

    Community members and residents from the Parkview Villa Apartments enjoyed some great conversation and a potluck supper. This special event was organized by the ROCS Senior Meal Program who are attempting to bring community seniors together on a regular basis.

    Martin “Marty” John Boese, 75, went to his heavenly home Monday, March 2, 2026 at his home near Geddes. Funeral arrangements are pending at this time. A celebration of Martin’s life will be held Saturday, May 30 at 1:00 pm at the Geddes Community Center in Geddes. Arrangements by Koehn Bros.

    Services for Bessie Cante Wastewin Weddell, 43, of Marty, were held Saturday, May 16 at the YST South Community Gym in Wagner. Burial was in the Greenwood Presbyterian Cemetery. Peters Funeral Home in Wagner was in charge of arrangements.
