Andes Central Teacher Spotlight

Bill Kitchenmaster
By

Mr. Bill Kitchenmaster is the K-12 P.E. teacher at Andes Central School and grew up in Hawarden, Iowa. He attended Wayne State College and earned his degree in Elementary Education. After earning his first degree he decided to earn his second degree in Educational Administration at South Dakota State University. Even though he pursued teaching P.E. he has always had a love for Language Arts. Bill has always had a natural knowledge for physcial education as most people don't know he has been living with MS (Multiple Sclerosis) for over 21 years.

Outside of school Bill is quite the bookworm and enjoys reading anything from mystery to western stories/novels. Family is important to Bill as he is highly interested in seeing his granddaughter grow up as she is only six months old. One of his favorite snacks is Baked Lays potato chips. His favorite quote comes from the book of Phillipians verse 4:13, 'I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.'

What brings Mr. Kitchenmaster the most joy at school is seeing students get along with one another. It warms his heart to see them be respectful, kind, and compassionate to one another.
