The Avon Lady Pirates battled hard at the Hanson Tournament in Alexandria on Tuesday, August 26, but came up short in a 0-2 loss to Freeman. Avon’s offense was paced by Rilyn Thury, who powered the net with 11 kills, 2 blocks, 1 set assist and added 5 digs on defense.

RAIDERS DEFEAT 1-RANKED WARRIORS

Your Wagner Red Raiders played the Winner Warriors on Friday night for what proved to be an exciting game. The 4th-ranked Raiders beat the no. 1-ranked Warriors by a score of 34-20. This is the first time in school history the Raiders have defeated Winner.
