The Avon Pirates volleyball team heads into the new season with experience, depth, and a strong work ethic. Head coach Lindsey Fathke, now in her fourth year at Avon after eight years with Bon Homme, and longtime assistant Connie Gretschmann, in her 20th year, return to guide the Pirates.

WAGNER EARNS SPORTSMANSHIP AWARD

On Friday, August 8, WagnertraveledtoClearLake to participate in the Bravo Division of the VFW 14U State Baseball Tournament. The first part of this tournament was pool play. Game 1 - Wagner vs Sisseton In game one we took on Sisseton.

AGE ISN'T SLOWING DOWN HOWARD BICH

Howard Bich, a former teacher and coach at Wagner High School, recently competed at the National Senior Games in Des Moines, IA at age 85 1/2. He competed in the 85-89 age category and was awarded multiple gold and silver medals.
