WAGNER CROSS COUNTRY POWERS THROUGH AT SCOTLAND

It was a great day for the Wagner Red Raiders Cross Country team on September 8 while at the Scotland Cross Country meet. The meet was held at Dawson Creek Golf Course in Scotland. This was a large meet with many runners; 257 runners to be exact.

LADY PIRATES SPLIT THE WEEK ON THE COURT

Avon 25 25 25 ACDC 14 10 10 The Avon Lady Pirates volleyball team hosted the Andes Central/Dakota Christian Thunder on Thursday, September 4, and came away with a clean sweep, 3-0. Brielle Voigt led at the service line with 9 aces, while Kaydence Metzger added 3.

BON HOMME COUNTY STATE FAIR RESULTS

The conclusion of the South Dakota State Fair essentially brings the conclusion of the 4-H year for most youth. The Bon Homme County Extension office would like to congratulate all the members who exhibited items at the 2025 South Dakota State Fair.

JV AND C TEAM FALL SHORT

The JV lost in 2 sets with scores of 13-25 and 20-25. Middle hitter Ashtyn Bruguier earned 4 kills and Adara Hopkins had 3. Setters Mila Hopkins and Kylin Insko dished out 6 and 5 assists in the match. A. Hopkins led the defense scrambling for 10 digs, Camry Link added 9 and Hayden Knudsen had 8.

WAGNER ROLLS PAST HOT SPRINGS, 35-7

The Wagner Red Raiders put together a dominant performance Friday night, defeating Hot Springs 35-7. Quarterback Gannon Knebel led the charge with a huge night throwing for 251 yards and 2 touchdowns while rushing for 122 yards and adding 3 more scores on the ground.

VARSITY SHUTS DOWN MVP

The Wagner Lady Raiders met up with the Mount Vernon/ Plankinton Titans on Tuesday, September 2nd. Wagner came out ready to play and defeated the Titans 3-0 with scores of 25-17, 25-12, and 25-13.

LADY RAIDERS CRUSH THE CUBS

On Thursday, September 4th the Red Raider volleyball team traveled to Chamberlain to take on the Cubs. The varsity dominated the match with set scores of 25-18, 25-11, and 25-6. Juniors Ravyn Medricky and Braxton Nedved led all attackers throwing down 6 kills.

WAGNER CROSS COUNTRY EXCELS IN GREGORY

On Tuesday, September 2nd, it was a beautiful day as The Wagner Raiders lined up for the start of their race held in Gregory, SD. The race started in the early afternoon and the rain held off for most of the races making it a great day to run.
