ANDES CENTRAL HOMECOMING GAME
The AC/DC/TDA Thunderhawks kicked off their 2025 football season on Friday night at Andes Central, facing a tough matchup against a seasoned Bon Homme team. Despite the home-field energy and early determination, the Thunderhawks fell 0–51. Quarterback Sean Hinckley completed 4 of 8 passes for 43 yards. Jamian Medicine Horn was the standout on the receiving end, hauling in 3 catches for 32 yards. On the ground, Alex Werkmeister led the Thunderhawks’ rushing effort with 5 carries for 26 yards against a strong Bon Homme defense. While the scoreboard favored the visitors, the game gave the Thunderhawks a chance to identify strengths and set a foundation for growth. With the first-game nerves behind them and valuable reps under their belts, the team now turns its focus to regrouping and preparing for the next challenge. The Thunderhawks will travel to Gregory on Friday, August 29 to take on the Gorillas. Good Luck Thunderhawks!
