On Thursday, September 4th the Red Raider volleyball team traveled to Chamberlain to take on the Cubs. The varsity dominated the match with set scores of 25-18, 25-11, and 25-6.

Juniors Ravyn Medricky and Braxton Nedved led all attackers throwing down 6 kills. Brianna Fuchs, Hannah Holzbauer, and Ashlyn added 5 in the match. Nedved racked up 21 assists in the win. Libby Kotab scrapped for 14 digs while Nedved picked up 12 and Holzbauer grabbed 8. Nedved racked up 24 points/11 aces while Holzbauer added 13 points/4 aces. Medricky had 3 blocks, Koupal put up 2 and Brylie Link had 1.

The JV racked up another win for the books with scores of 25-11 and 25-15. Middle hitters Ashtyn Bruguier and Mateya Bruguier each earned 3 kills while Adara Hopkins and Kylin Insko added 2. Setters Mila Hopkins and Insko each dished out 5 in the win. A. Hopkins picked up 7 digs while Inkso, Camry Link, and Hayden Knudsen each had 3. C. Link led all servers with 13 points/2 aces, M. Hopkins tallied 7 points/5 aces, and A. Hopkins had 4 points/2 aces. M. Bruguier had 3 blocks in the match.

The C team picked up a nice win with scores of 25-16 and 25-22. Peytyn Wiechmann led the attack with 3 kills, Ty’Shay Medicine Bear and Tegan Langdeaux each had 2. Setter Emma Turner had 3 assists in the win. Turner scrambled for 8 digs and Wiechmann had 3. Behind the service line Tuner had 11 points/4 aces, Taelyn Knebel added 6 points/3 aces, and Langdeaux had 4 points/1 ace.
