July 2022 marked a 388% increase in border crossings compared to July 2020 when President Trump was in office. This number is slightly down compared to June—however— July is the 17th consecutive month under Biden’s presidency that the southern border had over 150,000 illegal border crossings.

Reported by Mary Jo Parker With the 2022-23 school year starting the library takes on a new look. Summer programming was a great time of fun learning at the library, but that doesn’t mean fun learning at the library has to end.

Wednesday August 17th was a special day for the Wagner Rotary Club. The District Governor for District 5610 was present for our meeting. District Governors are obligated to visit each Rotary Club in their District at least once during the year of their office participation.

Final Week Of Racing

The final week of racing presented by Fort Randall Casino and Hotel was packed and our champions were named. The Manthey Farms Sport Compacts feature was won by Taylor Brown (Yankton). Not close behind was Aaron Wilson (Armour). Rounding out the top three was Brady Dufek (Armour).

Greer Post #11 American Legion

Reported by David C. Isebrands, Adjutant American Legion Greer Post #11 held its monthly meeting on August 18th, 2022 at the Post Home with 26 members in attendance. Commander Clayton Rados thanked the cooks for the delicious meal and then called the members to attention.
