With the 2022-23 school year starting the library takes on a new look. Summer programming was a great time of fun learning at the library, but that doesn’t mean fun learning at the library has to end. The library has access to many web based learning activities for our patrons. Children can read along with Book Flix for pre-school thru 1st grade or True Flix for children 2nd grade and up by logging into the State library site.

Patrons interested in genealogy can find access to Ancestry by logging into the state library site and accessing the website for no charge. Do you enjoy reading books on your phone or I-pad? With a library card from the Lake Andes Public Library you have access to over 20, 000 books or magazines, using the free Libby app. Download books on to your device using the library Wi-Fi and enjoy without use of the internet.
