The Wagner City Council held a special meeting Thursday night. Following the regular business items on the agenda, members of the SD DOT joined the meeting at 6:30 p.m. to discuss the 3-lane proposed highway construction project through Wagner.

During the informational meeting, it was noted that the Wagner City Council does not have any control on the final decision of this project. The decision is made by the South Dakota Department of Transportation.

After hearing from those in attendance in support and opposition, the council voted to support the SD DOT decision on the proposed 3-lane highway.
