Memorial services for Marlene Skorpik, 89, of Wagner were held Tuesday, November 1 at The Assumption Catholic Church in Dante. Burial is in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, rural Dante. Peters Funeral Home in Wagner was in charge of arrangements.

Funeral services for Katherine L. Andersh, 89, of Wagner were held Monday, October 24 at St John Lutheran Church in Wagner. Burial was in the ZCBJ Cemetery, rural Wagner. In lieu of flowers, please donate in her name to your favorite charity.

No local services will be held for Roger Roubideaux. Memori-al services will be held at a later date in Nevada. Roger Roubideaux was born on December 25, 1944 to Robert Roubideaux and Anne Scissons- Roubideaux.

Puddy died Friday, October 14, 2022 at his home in Wagner under hospice care, surrounded by his family. Funeral services were 10:30 AM, Monday, October 17, 2022 at the National Guard Armory in Wagner, with mili-tary honors. Wake services were at 7 PM on Saturday and Sunday at the Armory.

Funeral services for Joyce E. Tichy, 86, of Chamberlain, will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, October 28 at the United Church of Christ in Chamberlain, with burial of the ashes at a later date in St. John's Cemetery at Wagner. A prayer service will be 7:00 p.m.

Virginia Ruby (Best) Schroder, age 99, of Yankton, died Saturday, October 8,2022,atAveraSacredHeart Hospital in Yankton. Funeral services were Thursday, October 13 at Calvary Baptist Church in Yankton, with Reverend Errin Mulberry officiating. Burial was in the First Baptist Cemetery in Avon.

Hoksila Wa'Ste Joseph, 33, of Marty, died Sunday, October 9, 2022 at his home in Marty. Funeral services were Thursday, October 13 at the Marty Community Center in Marty. Burial was in St. Paul’s Catholic Cemetery in Marty. Peters Funeral Home in Wagner was in charge of arrangements.

Evans “Corky” Kezena, 64, of Wagner died Friday, October 7, 2022 at the Community Memorial Hospital in Wagner. Funeral services were Monday, October 10 at the Greenwood Community Center in Greenwood. Burial was in the Kezena Cemetery, rural Wagner.

Eunice Yvonne Hathaway, 83, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed peacefully at her home on September 8, 2022, with her family by her side. Eunice was born to Reka and Vert Burma on September 13, 1938, in Avon.

Carmen ‘Irving’ Louise (Smejkal) Hahn of Wagner, was blessed with comfort care on her 63rd birthday and passed away peacefully at Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls on August 15th, 2022. A Celebration of Carmen's Life was held Saturday, October 8 at the All Tribes Fellowship in Wagner.
