Essay 2nd place winner at the South Dakota State level for 7th/8th grade division When I think of America, the Beautiful, I think of freedom. I think of our ancestors who fought for our rights as American citizens. I think of our currently deployed soldiers who are still fighting.

It is no secret that we LOVE this rodeo famously called the STAMPEDE in Burke, South Dakota! When you love what you do, well, it makes for FUN!! What great FUN we have had with all of you over the past 34 years at the legendary Burke Stampede Rodeo. In this, our 35th year, we are makin’ history.

LEARNING CAMP COMING SOON

The Ihanktonwan Learning Camp will be returning to the Marty Community Center on Monday July 28. A group of volunteers from Maryland and Pennsylvania will be offering fun and educational activities for children who have finished K through 5th grade. The Learning Camp is completely FREE!!
