Road construction continues through Wagner as crew are regrading Highway 46 through Wagner with a 3-lane section east of Washington Street and a 5-lane section west of Washinton Avenue. New lighting and sidewalks will also be added through town along with crosswalks with flashing beacons to improve safety for pedestrians. During the project, the City of Wagner is also installing new sanitary sewer and water main to upgrade their existing systems. According the SD DOT project timeline, the crew will work from East Avenue SE to the east end of Wagner City Limits through November
