This week’s featured Andes Central Senior is Carlin Hopkins. Carlin is the son of Charles and Tracey Hopkins. Carlin has three siblings that also attend Andes Central: Adura, Mila and Finnegan.

As the weather changes to match the month of the year and we find colder temps, high winds, and shorter days our minds turn to activities we can do indoors. The library has shelved all our puzzle collection and we have puzzles for all ages.

On Monday, November 13, seven WCS students made their way to Chamberlain to participate in the Region Oral Interpretation Contest, where the team took 1st place!

There is a new business on Wagner’s Main Street located in the Frei Insurance Building. MoonFarma Herbal Apothecary opened its pop-up shop door November 1st.

President Becky Brunsing rang the Thanksgiving holiday in with a rather questionable ring. Members rated the ring on the low end of the scale. Rotarian/Pastor Bill Herrman gave thanks for the meal and all the blessings we have experienced this past year.

The Avon American Legion and American Legion Auxiliary held their joint Christmas celebration Tuesday, November 14th at Tolsma’s Cove.

For the last 44 years, Ron’s Market has been owned and operated by Ron and Linda Pelton. Ron’s Market is the Avon grocery store that has been in operation since June 27, 1979. They have also been a member of the Avon Chamber of Commerce since 1979.
