President Becky Brunsing gave a quiet bell ring to bring the Wagner Rotarians to order on November 29th.

Wagner Oral Interp competed in the State Competition in Harrisburg Friday, December 1st and Saturday, December 2nd. Friday afternoon, Reader’s Theatre performed and brought home a Superior Award.

Thousands of high school senior scholar-athletes graduating with the class of 2024 from 4,129 different schools across the country applied for the scholarship earlier this fall.

The Wagner Community School’s current seniors were asked to attend a post-graduation planning and training program sponsored by the Wagner Chamber of Commerce on Wednesday, November 29th.

The Avon Public Library held their annual Christmas Story on Saturday, November 25th at 2 p.m. Each year a new book is chosen to be read for the annual event. This year’s book was The Grinch Who Lost Christmas by Alastair Heim. Library board member, Julie Minow, read the story.

This holiday season, LifeServe Blood Center is urging families in South Dakota to come together and create a new and meaningful tradition: donating blood as a family to save lives in their communities.

Avon High School Junior, Aziah Meyer, was named the Most Valuable Player from the Class 9B State Championship game against the Faulkton Area Trojans November 9th. Aziah is the son of Jamey Meyer and Alvin Gunter.
