THE ORDER EASTERN STAR SOUP AND PIE LUNCHEON HELD

The Order Eastern Star (OES) Soup and Pie luncheon was held Wednesday, March 4 at the Masonic Temple in Armour. The luncheon started as a salad luncheon in 2004. As the memberships have gotten older the salad luncheon switched to the soup and pie luncheon in 2006.

An old grandfather clock hung on the all at the Wagner Public Library for many years. It accurately kept time, since being given to the Library by E.C. Schreiber, the local jeweler. Some years back it quit working. Bob Dvorak kindly worked on it and got it going again.

PODHRADSKY NAMED TO BHSU FALL 2019 DEAN'S LIST

SPEARFISH… Black Hills State University has released the Dean’s List for the fall 2019 semester. A total of 722 students maintained a grade point average (GPA) of 3.5 or higher while taking at least 12 credit hours. Students that achieved a 4.0 GPA are recognized with an asterisk (*).

NOVAK COMPLETES LAW ENFORCEMENT TRAINING

Mayor, Donald Hosek, presented Tanner Novak with a certificate of achievement for successful completion of the Law Enforcement Academy training and becoming a certified police officer for the City of Wagner.
