Andes Central students are celebrating National FFA Week with activities planned all week. Monday was Jacket Day.

KJ St. Pierre brought home the state title for the second year in a row. With this being KJ’s last year of wrestling as a senior, he came in ready and determined and worked hard for an undefeated season.

Darci Bultje, Community Service Director at ROCS and Debbie Houseman, Lake Andes City Finance Officer received donated hygiene items at the Lake Andes ROCS office from Kylie Olson and Casey Tolsma who are Corsica-Stickney FCCLA members for their State FCCLA Project .

The Andes Central School District joined districts across the state to thank school board members for their leadership and service to our local school district and community during South Dakota School Board Recognition Week from February 17-21.

“CASA volunteers serve as voices for children in court, and other settings, to give them a chance at finding permanent and stable homes,” said Jackie Horton, executive director for the First Circuit CASA program.

Greer Post#11American Legion Auxiliary met February 20, 2020 at 8:00 p.m., with 14 members present. The meeting was called to order by President Juanita Stone. The opening prayer was read by Marge Stone. All members recited the pledge of allegiance and Auxiliary preamble.

The Wagner Fire Department would like to congratulate the following volunteers for reaching their milestone length of service awards: Lynn Soukup-20 yrs, Todd Link-5 yrs, John Holzbauer-5 yrs, Tim Leibel-1 yr. (Terence Krcil-1 yr, not pictured).

Senior Recognition Night was held Tuesday, February 11 in Lake Andes as the Thunder hosted the Marty Braves .

Rotary Minutes for Wednesday, February 12, 2020 A delicious meal of roast beef, mashed potatoes with gravy, corn, rolls, cake and ice cream was served. Meeting was rung to order by President Bill Frei.

Wagner Bon Homme Varsity Scored a 123.80 to make it their season best!! They placed 7th just missing the 6th place team plaque by 1.40.
