IT'S ABOUT TIME
An old grandfather clock hung on the all at the Wagner Public Library for many years. It accurately kept time, since being given to the Library by E.C. Schreiber, the local jeweler.
Some years back it quit working. Bob Dvorak kindly worked on it and got it going again. He suggested sending it off for repair the next time it gave out. The estimated costs for repair were too high to consider, so the clock was put in storage. A clock repairman was making a service call to Bob and some other people in the area. Bob remembered the issue with the library clock and brought him to see it. This repair quote seemed reasonable and it was decided to have the clock fixed.
Everyone was anxious to have the clock returned and once again displayed. The repairman hung the clock back in its old familiar place and announced that Bob had personally paid the repair bill.
The Wagner Library Board and staff certainly appreciate his thoughtfulness and generosity! Stop in sometime and hear the tick-tock of our newly restored clock!
