ST It will be 'beginning to look a lot like Christmas' in Lake Andes Friday, December 1st as the City of Lake Andes and the Lake Andes Community Club are sponsoring the following Holiday activities: Lake Andes businesses will be holding Customer Appreciation throughout the day.

The American Legion Auxiliary Greer Unit #11 honored Merle Stone as their October Veteran of the Month. Stone is a Veteran of the Vietnam War. He was drafted and served in the Army. Merle began his service on March 8th of 1960 and was honorably discharged March 7th of 1963.

The Wagner Red Raider Volleyball team traveled to Rapid City to participate in their third consecutive State Volleyball Tournament. Wagner entered the tourney as the 6th seed. Wagner met up with the Miller Rustlers who were the 3rd seed.
