AVON PIRATES 2023 CLASS 9B STATE CHAMPIONS

The Avon Pirates are the 2023 Class 9B State Champions with their big win over Faulkton Area Thursday, November 9th at the DakotaDome in Vermillion 32-30. The Pirates started off slow in the first quarter, allowing Faulkton Area to get on the scoreboard first 8-0.

Veterans Day Program

The annual Veteran’s Day Program for Lake Andes was held at the Andes Central School Friday, November 10th. The program was designed and put together by the Andes Central Jobs for America’s Graduates (JAG) students.

VETERANS DAY PROGRAM

Wagner Community School students honored area veterans on Friday, November 10 with a Veterans Day program held in the school gym. As veterans entered the school, FFA students welcomed them.

VOLLEYBALL TEAM IS STATE BOUND

Wagner Raiders volleyball team is heading to State after their big win over Mobridge-Pollock 3-2 at SoDak 16. The ladies will face off against Miller at the net to start their State Volleyball action Thursday, November 16 at 6:45 MT at the Summit Arena at the Monument in Rapid City.

How much blood flows through your joints? Would you be surprised if I told you “None”? That’s right! Inside the joint there is a clear, viscous, slippery fluid that lubricates the joint surface, but no red blood flows inside the joint. Doctors do not want to see blood in a joint.

Fall has always been my favorite season! The beautiful array of colors: red, orange, yellow and brown. Here in the Dakotas, we not only enjoy the color changing of the leaves, but we are also blessed with some gorgeous sunrises and sunsets as the weather begins to cool and harvest season begins.
