Many students are focused upon their future and what they need to do to get their dream job. Whether or not they will be ready to deal with what is needed to be successful is also of great concern to many parents and guardians.

After a delicious lunch of BBQ ribs, hashed brown casserole, macaroni salad, roles, ice cream and pie, the January 30, 2019 Rotary meeting was called to order with the ringing of the bell by President Jerry Weber. Pastor Laurie led in prayer. Welcome was extended to our guest: Betsy Wiltz.

The LifeServe Blood Center blood drive sponsored by Wagner Community on Monday, January 28, 2019 had a fantastic turn-out! 36 donors registered and 37 life-saving units of blood were donated. Thank you to everyone that came out with the winter weather to help boost the LOCAL blood supply!

MITCHELL — Dakota Wesleyan University has announced its 2018 fall dean’s list, which includes 240 students. To qualify for the dean’s list, a student must have a semester grade point average of at least 3.5 on a four-point scale.

The Community Closet employees and board of directors is pleased to have celebrated the one-year anniversary of the business on Friday evening, February 1. An awards night was held, along with the presentation of four grants to area businesses and organizations.
