Wagner Community School Athletic Hall of Fame Committee is proud to announce the first class to be inducted into the Wagner Community School Athletic Hall of Fame. These inductees will have a banquet in November to be formally inducted.

ATHLETES

1940’s: Doug Eggers (1948 FB, later in the NFL)

1960’s: Jay Hennies (1961 FB All State & BBB)

1970’s: Don Slaba (1971 Track, still holds five school track records) 1980’s: Randy Pirner (1980 FB All State, BBB All State, & TR winner of three events at the State Meet); Jylann Soulek (1988 GBB, VB & TR, still holds three school track records) 1990’s: Denise Kennedy (Kocer) (1993 GBB, VB & TR, still holds one school track record); Jay Swatek (1993 FB, WR three time State Champ, TR); Mandy Koupal (1999 GBB All-State three times, VB, TR, still holds one school track record and Gold Medal Winner twice at the State Track Meet

2010’s: Robert Kokesh (2010 FB and WR, three time State Champ); Alex Kocer (2012 FB and WR five time State Champ).
