VFW TO DISTRIBUTE POPPIES

Members of Post 7319 and Auxiliary will be distributing Buddy Poppies the week prior to Memorial Day. On this special occasion of our 75th anniversary, we are allowed to distribute silver colored “Diamond Anniversary” poppies as well as the red that are normally used.

ROTARY NEWS

The Wagner Rotary Club began its May 19th meeting with a prayer by Rotarian Laurie Kidd which gave thanks for the rain we were receiving that morning. She asked for guidance for each Rotarian as we go about our Wagner Community. Club members were excited to begin our group singing once again.

Greer Post #11 American Legion

Greer Post #11 American Legion held its monthly meeting on May 20, 2021 at the Post Home. Commander Robert Kucera called the members to attention. Chaplain Donald Kotab gave the invocation, which was followed by the Pledge of Allegiance.

1911 - 110 Years Ago Get a good Sunday dinner for 50 cents at the Eureka Hotel. Rev. Curry will deliver the farewell address to the graduating class at the Baptist Church on Sunday evening. The graduating exercise will be on Monday at the Opera House.
