Daylight savings time has just ended and now everyone has had the chance to “fall back” to standard time.

Ruth Manning and her son, Tim Manning of Sabetha, Kansas were visitors last week of Lillian Burfeindt. They were here to attend the funeral of Arlene Bertus. Lynn Stather was a weekend visitor in the home of her sister, Diane Ewing of Sioux Falls.

Lake Andes— The Charles Mix County Farm Service Agency (FSA) County Committee Election is being held this year in Local Administrative Area #2. This area includes Goose Lake, Highland, Howard, Moore, Plain Center, Wahehe, and White Swan townships.

WAGNER ORAL INTERP HOLDS LOCAL CONTEST

It’s often stated that public speaking is the number one fear in America. Is it yours? It may have been a fear for The Wagner Oral Interp students at the beginning of the season, but not any more! These kids came to their local meet polished and ready to go. The meet was held on November 1st.

PUBLIC MEETING ON PROPOSED PROJECT TO RECONSTRUCT HWY. 46

A public meeting open house was held at the S.D. Army National Guard Armory in Wagner on Thursday, November 4th. Many local businesses and community members attended the open house. The South Dakota Department of Transportation answered questions and worries that the public had at the July meeting.

AARP CHAPTER 962 September 21, 2021 Minutes The first AARP Chapter 962 meeting was held since the Covid-19 outbreak in March 2020, on Tuesday, September 21 at 12:30 p.m. at the Park View Villa, Wagner. Vice-President, Virginia Petrik opened the meeting with all reciting the Pledge of Allegiance.
