Ruth Manning and her son, Tim Manning of Sabetha, Kansas were visitors last week of Lillian Burfeindt. They were here to attend the funeral of Arlene Bertus.

Lynn Stather was a weekend visitor in the home of her sister, Diane Ewing of Sioux Falls. They attended the college football game Saturday afternoon between South Dakota State University and North Dakota State University in Brookings with SDSU winning the game. They were supper guests in the home of their niece, Haley and Jimmy Rogers, Reese and Trace. Jimmy is an assistant coach for SDSU.

Bert Pritchett and Nyla Raysby drove to Sioux Falls on Sunday where they celebrated the birthday of her son-in-law, Frank Bures. Also joining in the celebration were Dawn, Saydae, Lily and Harrison Bures of Sioux Falls.

Kevin Tjeerdsma had a birthday celebration for his wife, Charlene after the Avon football game last Friday night at their home. Guests were Cornelia Tjeerdsma of Tyndall, Dennis and Lana Dodge and Brian Janssen.

Conrad and Erma Meyer and their daughter, Karen Gearhart of Ramona were weekend visitors in the home of Marlo Anderson of Hartford.

Erma Meyer, Carol Eggers, Chris Bryan and Betty Lou Harmacek, ladies of the Presbyterian Women enjoyed a tour of "Our Home" in Parkston last Thursday which was provided by Jade Hamilton who is employed there.
