Lake Andes— The Charles Mix County Farm Service Agency (FSA) County Committee Election is being held this year in Local Administrative Area #2. This area includes Goose Lake, Highland, Howard, Moore, Plain Center, Wahehe, and White Swan townships. The nominee for this election is Jeffrey Kuhlman and Randy Robertson. The successful candidate will serve a three-year term on the FSA county committee.

Jeffrey is an active farmer in this community and is well qualified for FSA county committee work. Jeffrey and his wife Rhonda farm in the Wagner and Marty areas. Jeffrey is life-long residents of this area and is willing to serve on the FSA county committee.

Randy is an active farmer in this community and is well qualified for FSA county committee work. Randy farm in the Wagner and Marty areas. Randy is a life-long resident of this area and is willing to service on the FSA county committee.

The ballots were mailed on November 1st to the farm owners and operators in this Administrative Area. The deadline to return the ballots to the FSA Office in Lake Andes, by mail or in person, is December 6, 2021. Any farm owner or operator in these townships who does not receive a ballot by mail should contact the FSA Office to update the voter list and obtain a ballot.

All farm owners and operators in this administrative area are encouraged to vote for the candidate of their choice. Farmers and ranchers who serve on FSA county committees help make decisions necessary to administer the federal farm programs offered in their communities.
