RAVINIA ALL SCHOOL REUNION

After the successful Ravinia All School reunion last year, the committee decided to have a reunion yearly. Well, another evening was enjoyed by 84 alumni and guests, June 25, 2022 at the Ravinia Fire Hall. Firemen Austin Weber, Curtis Soulek and Cole Christoperson hosted the reunion.

10U GIRLS SOFTBALL CLUTCH CHAMPIONSHIP TITLE

The 10U girls softball team took home the Championship Title on Tuesday, June 28th. They celebrated with a parade around town on the Fire trucks. Coach, Tiffany Pelton commented on their season saying, "I couldn't be more proud of the 10U girls! Taking on my first coaching job was a breeze thanks to this group of girls. Their hard work all summer finally paid off and it's so deserved. Thanks to the girls for all their hard work and the parents that helped me along the way!" AVON 18U GIRLS SOFTBALL HOST FINAL REGULAR SEASON GAMES

Monday, June 27 Avon’s 18U Softball Team traveled to Parkston for a double header. Parkston scored 3 in the third while Avon managed to get a run across in the sixth but it wasn’t enough as Parkston won 3-1. Sam Brodeen, Reece Loewe, Lydia Yost, and Emma Yost each singled in the game. Lydia Yost pitched for Avon, striking out 5.
