Bush in 1990, the month is a time to celebrate diverse traditions, acknowledge achievements, and educate the public about the challenges and injustices faced by Native Americans.

Nyla Zastrow, age 85, passed away on October 27th, 2025 surrounded by her family, at her home in Columbia. Funeral Services were held Monday, November 3 at Columbia UCC with pastors Jon Damaska and Eldon Reich officiating. Burial followed at Lakeview Cemetery, Columbia. Spitzer-Miller Funeral home of Aberdeen was in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the MakeA-Wish Foundation.
