The Lady Raiders traveled to Tyndall to take on the Bon Homme Cavaliers last Thursday night in girls basketball action. The Raiders would race to a 30-5 lead after the first quarter and finish with a 68-25 win. Wagner would shoot 29-46 for 63% while Bon Homme would shoot 10-43 for 23%. Wagner would out rebound the Cavaliers 34-14. The Raiders would dish out 22 assists. For Wagner, Ashlyn Koupal would lead all scorers with 20 points, 10 rebounds, dish out a game high 8 assists, block 3 shots and come away with 3 steals. Hayden Knudsen would tally 14 points, and also post 2 assists, 2 steals, and 2 rebounds. Braxton Nedved would finish with 9 points and dish out 4 assists. Mateya Bruguier would add 7 points, 4 rebounds and 3 steals.

Patricia (Stricker) Roller, 56, of Marty, died unexpectedly at the Community Memorial Hospital in Wagner on Wednesday, December 31, 2025. Funeral services were Tuesday, January 6 at the Marty Community Center. Burial was in the Native American Church Cemetery, rural Wagner. Wake services began Saturday at the Community Center in Marty. Wake services for Amelia Zephier, 27, of Sioux Falls, were held Wednesday, December 31 at the Holy Spirit Episcopal Church in Wagner. Funeral services were January 1 at the church. A Celebration of Amelia’s Life will be held at a later date with inurnment in the Holy Fellowship Episcopal Cemetery, rural Greenwood. Peters Funeral Home in Wagner was in charge of arrangements.
