ALL-STATE CHORUS

On November 1st, the four All-Staters: Lance Odens (bass), Lexi Vanderlei (soprano), Breanna Hento(alto),andSeanSchryvers(tenor),traveled to Sioux Falls, to sing 8 songs. The song selections they sang were: “Star-Spangled Banner” – Francis Scott Key/John Stafford/arr. Dale Grotenhuis, “Battle Hymn of the Republic” – arr. Peter Wilhousky, “Until I Reach My Home” – arr. Brandon A. Boyd, “It Takes A Village” – Joan Szymko, “Plaudite, Psallite” – Kestutis Daugirdas, “Measure Me, Sky!” – Elaine Hagenberg, “Fever Dreams” – Erich Eastman,“let me listen” – Dan Forrest.

SWEET CLOVER 4-H CLUB MEETING MINUTES

The Sweet Clover 4-H club met on November 9, 2025 at 5pm. The Brandt family hosted the meal. President Rilyn Thury called the meeting to order. Flag Pledges were led by Colt Wolf. Roll call topic was 'What is your favorite drink?' & 12 members were present. The secretary's report was given by Whitley Wolf. Haley Brandt motioned to approve the report, seconded by Tylee Wolf. The treasurer's report wasgivenbyHaleyBrandt.Colt motionedtoapprovethereport, seconded by Hoyt Brandt. We made fleece blankets for Our Home in Parkston. In total 14 blankets were made. At our next meeting we invite you to joinusforourChristmasparty. We will be partaking in a gift exchange ranging from $10-15. To celebrate we will decorate funcookieswhileplayingafun game of bingo. Next meeting will be in December 14, 2025 at 5 pm. Motion to adjourn by HudsonTjeersma,secondedby Carrollee Irwin.

FCSLA MATCHING FUNDS BENEFIT COMMUNITY

TheTaborPioneers4-HClub members received a FCSLA Life Matching Funds check of $600fromDennisL. Povondra, FCSLA National Auditor. The event was held at the Takota Park Ball Field in Tabor during the week of May 19 - 21, 2025. Girls Softball and Boys Baseball games were played during the week. Tabor’s Junior branch JW093 of FCSLA Life was the sponsoring group for the Matching Funds Grant.
