Jessica Streit, born on July 19th, 2005 is a female senior at Avon High school. She lives with her mother Jaime Poignee, her stepdad Jon Newman, and two of her five siblings; Alex and Iris. Alex is a 7th grader this year and Iris is a 1st grader.

Haley Gillette is a senior at Avon high school, graduating in 2023. She was born on March 8, 2004 and has 2 siblings; Jerry and Payton. Her parents are Natessa and Dustin. Haley's favorite subject in school is Psychology because she enjoys learning about human behaviors and disorders.

The Andes Central/Dakota Christian fell to Menno in four close sets on Thursday, October 6th.

The Andes Central/Dakota Christian fell to Wagner in three sets on Thursday, October 13th.

The #3 Wagner Raiders traveled to Canton on Saturday, October 8th to take on the #4 ranked C-Hawks. The Wagner Lady Raiders came ready to play and earned the win with scores of 27-25, 21-25, 25-22, and 25-13. Outside hitters Emma Yost and Avari Bruguier led the attack with 14 and 13 kills.

The Wagner Volleyball team hosted Parkston for their annual Dig Pink match on Tuesday, October 11th. Last year was the first year of the traveling trophy and Wagner brought it home.

The Wagner Volleyball team traveled to Lake Andes on Thursday, October 13 to face the AC/DC Thunder. The Raiders tallied another win with scores of 25-16, 25-15, 25-16. The Lady Raiders are on a 17 match winning streak and are working hard towards their goals.

It was a very windy end to The Wagner Raider’s Cross Country Season is past Thursday, October 13th. Living in South Dakota, we are used to windy days; some windier than others.
