JV, C-TEAM LADY RAIDERS FALL TO ELK POINT

The JV team was defeated 51-48 in a close game as well. Peytyn Wiechmann and Clarah Soukup led the Raiders with 13 points apiece. Clarah would add 7 boards, 5 steals, and dish out 3 assists. Peytyn would grab 4 boards, and dish out 4 assists.

NAIL-BITER FOR JV, DOMINANT EFFORT BY C TEAM

The JV team lost in another nail biter 34-31. Clarah Soukup led all scorers with 14 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists, and 3 steals. TyShay Medicine Bear added 5 point, 5 rebounds. Peytyn Wiechmann added 4 points 3 boards, and 3 steals.

WAGNER STUNS NO. 2 PARKSTON BEHIND BIG DEFENSIVE EFFORT

The Lady Raiders hosted the #2 Class B team, the 9-0 Parkston Trojans last Thursday in girls basketball action. Parkston would jump our to an early 6-2 lead but he Raiders would out score the Trojans 9-1 the last 5 minutes of the 1st quarter to take a 11-7 lead.

LADY RAIDERS BATTLE ELK POINT IN TOUGH NIGHT ACROSS ALL LEVELS

The Lady Raiders traveled to Elk Point last Tuesday in a nonconference showdown. The Huskies would come out bombing threes the first half splashing them, banking them, you name it as they would hold a 33-23 lead at the half. They would hit 9 the first half and then not another the rest of the game.

JV AND C TEAM FALL SHORT IN WINNER MATCHUPS

The C team got their first action in a while on Saturday in Winner. The boys trailed 9-5 after the first period and 18-15 at half time. The C team played right with a good Winner team but couldn’t get a lead late in the game and lost 41-33.

WAGNER BOYS HOST PARKSTON IN FULL NIGHT OF ACTION

The Wagner varsity boys team took on Parkston at home Thursday night. The Raiders played with the Trojans in the first quarter, they trailed 13-11. The Trojans made things tough for Wagner in the second quarter and took a 42-18 lead into the half.

C-TEAM, JV SECURE VICTORIES IN CLOSE BATTLES WITH PARKSTON

The Wagner C team defeated Parkston in overtime on Thursday night. Wagner le3d 7-4 after the first period. The boys had trouble scoring in the second period and trailed 16-9 at the half. Wagner came back late and tied the game to send it into overtime.

VARSITY VICTORY HIGHLIGHTS WAGNER’S TRIP TO WINNER

The Wagner varsity boys basketball team got a big SESD Conference win on Saturday in Winner. Michael Koupal set a new school record; he took four charges in the game which breaks the old record of three held by several former Wagner players.

Friday, January 16 and Saturday January 17, 2026 We are so proud of the effort these young ladies have been putting into learning new skills these past couple of weeks. Aspyn Schroeder, Addison Cuka, and Aubry Williams all performed new skills on bars.
