Andes Central/Dakota Christian traveled to Wagner to compete in the Wagner Relays Track Meet on Tuesday, April 11th. The girls scored 11 points as a team and came in 16th.

WAGNER AT AVON RELAYS

On Friday, April 14, Wagner’s track and field teams traveled to Avon for a meet. The girls would end up winning this meet by one point over Corsica-Stickney. They would bring home four first place medals in the process.

WAGNER RELAYS

Wagner hosted what would be the first outdoor track and field meet for the 22 participating teams this year at Nedved- Bich stadium on Tuesday, April 11. Wagner’s girls would have two champions.

RED RAIDERS TALLY FIRST WIN IN SCHOOL HISTORY

The Wagner Red Raiders traveled to Winner on April 13th to take on the Winner Warriors, picking up their first win in school history. The girls played through sunshine, wind, rain, and even huddled in the dugout for a 20 minute weather delay.

WAGNER HOSTS WATCHDOGS IN HOME OPENER

The Wagner Red Raiders softball team hosted the Beresford Lady Watchdogs on Monday, April 10th for their home opener. It was a beautiful day to showcase their new complex. The first score on the board was brought in by Lydia Yost.

WAGNER VS PARKSTON

Wagner and Parkston matched up in an exciting backand- forth game that saw Wagner coming away with a 8-6 victory. Wagner trailed 6-5 in the bottom of the sixth inning when Carter Cournoyer doubled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring two runs.

AVON ARCHERY

Avon had 8 archers that attended the 2023 state NASP tournamentattheBlackHills State University in Spearfish on Friday, March 31st. The tournament is sponsored by the South Dakota Game Fish and Parks. Categories included were Bullseye and 3D animal targets.
