LEGISLATIVE REPORTS

District 21 Senate Report This past week the weather was in the deep freeze however, the activity in the legislature heated up. Many bills were heard Wednesday and Thursday, however they were deferred because the sponsors or people who were supposed to speak about them could not make it to Pierre.

Wagner Hospital Auxiliary

The Wagner Community Hospital Auxiliary held their monthly meeting on January 23, 2019 at 1:30 p.m. with nine members present. Before the meeting started, Connie Kaufman, RN and CPR instructor showed members the new CPR mannequin that is now required by the American Heart Assn.

WBH GYMNASTS HEADED TO STATE

Wagner- Bon Homme Gymnasts placed second at the Region meet last week. They are headed to the state meet on February 7-9th. It is great to see how the girls controlled their nerves and did well. Each gymnast earned her spot to compete for individual day on all the events they competed in!

INTRODUCING If you've attended recent sporting activities you've heard his voice fill the gym, but do you know the man behind that voice. Let's meet Mr. Bill Hummel, Andes Central High School principal. Mr. Hummel graduated from Westfield High School in Iowa in 1981.

District 21 Senate Report This week Governor Kristi Noem delivered the budget address. The governor highlighted the superior financial rating of our state. This rating will allow the state, counties, cities and schools to have access to superior broadband rating and save money.
