Wagner Hospital Auxiliary

The Wagner Community Hospital Auxiliary held their monthly meeting on January 23, 2019 at 1:30 p.m. with nine members present.

Before the meeting started, Connie Kaufman, RN and CPR instructor showed members the new CPR mannequin that is now required by the American Heart Assn. for teaching CPR for certification.

The meeting was called to order by President Pearl W. and members read the Auxiliary Prayer.

Minutes of the October meeting were read. Motion to approve minutes was made by Jeanette D., seconded by JoAnn W., motion carried.

Treasurer's report was given with deposits from dues, bake sale, raffle ticket sales and bills that were paid. Motion to approve report was made by Mayme C., seconded by Juanita S., motion carried.

There was no report given for cards sent since the last meeting.

Winner of the quilt was Joan Wehrbein Patocka. Name was drawn at the Craft Fair in November.

Members discussed selling raffle tickets on Friday rather than Saturday at the local grocery stores this year. Also discussed putting quilt in bank and Town and Country Beauty Salon this next year. Will discuss again at a future meeting.

Joan Novak presented bill for food for the blood drive on January 28 at the fire station. Motion made and approved to pay bill.

Motion was made by JoAnn H., to purchase two packs of mannequins for CPR training and seconded by Mayme C., motion carried.

The next meeting will be held February 27 at 1:30 p.m. and JoAnn W. will serve refreshments.

There being no further business, motion to adjourn the meeting was made by JoAnn W., seconded by Joann H., motion carried. Refreshments were served by Juanita S.
