At Brave Heart Society we have many talented employees and relatives that become part of the Braveheart family while working with us. We want to take time to honor two of those relatives, beautiful women inside and out, Eva Weddell and Marquel Holiday.
Leon FlyingHawk was presented with a Wagner Community Recognition Award on Thursday, August 8th at the 605 Unity Jam’s Sessions by the Lake event held at Wagner Lake. Mayor, Tammy Thornton, presented Leon with this award “for being a guiding light to others.

Emily Brunsing was crowned 2014 Labor Day Queen. Sadie Eitemiller received first runner up and Kristan Soukup received second runner up.
Kristi Kokesh and Heath Gumb announced their engagement.

Pioneer Seed invited customers to irrigated corn and soy bean fields south of town at Joel Namminga’s property to compare new varieties to existing ones. The American Legion as well as the American Legion Auxiliary retired 137 flags at their annual riverside ceremony.
Lake Andes saw a new restaurant open its doors in town this past week. What the Duck? BBQ and Grill held a soft opening on Monday, August 19th and has been open every day since. Owners Chris and Shelly Saunsoci finally made their dreams a reality with the opening of this business.
