The Wagner Area Foundation is happy to announce they will again be accepting applications for 2019 from eligible participants now through May 31, 2019.
The first graders appreciate First Dakota Bank, Commercial State Bank, Fort Randall Credit Union, Avera Hospital and the Wagner Early Childhood for opening their doors to the students. We hope to reach out to more businesses next year and continue to get the students involved within the community.
The Christian Temperance Union was formed in order to fight against alcohol and drug abuse, which is so prevalent in our society today . This contest makes children aware that drugs are out there and they should not get involved with them .

Good physical health and well-being includes having good mental health. Just as sleep, exercise, eating healthy, avoiding substance abuse and smoking are good for our physical health, they are also good for our mental health.
WATERTOWN - The 52nd Annual Lake Area Technical Institute graduation ceremony was held Friday, May 10, with eight hundred twenty-three graduates receiving their diplomas.
NORFOLK, NE – The 46th Commencement of Northeast Community College took place on Saturday, May 11 in the Cox Activities Center on the Norfolk campus.
As of Wednesday, May 1, some 923 students earned 1,027 degrees; 68 students earned two degrees, 12 earned three degrees and four earned four degrees.
Greer Post #11 American Legion held its monthly meeting on May 16, 2019 at the post home. Commander Robert Kucera called the members to attention. Chaplain Donald Kotab gave the invocation, which was followed by the Pledge of Allegiance.
Greer Unit # 11 American Legion Auxiliary members Margie Stone and Linda Youngbluth present a check for $350 to Arlis Kafka for the Wagner Cancer Walk. This check is the proceeds from the lunch stand that the Auxiliary provided at the October Cancer Rummage Sale.
