Welcome to the Jungle is the theme for Wagner 2019 Homecoming week, October 14-18. Lots of excitement and activities happening next week at Wagner Community School.

It is hard to imagine what it would be like to prepare for an Oral Interpretation Meet. That is, unless you have been in the activity before. Oral Interp isn't like a group sports activity where there are practices every day after school.

Governor Kristi Noem’ s office contacted Wagner Community School about a visitto learn more about the Jag program in South Dakota and chose to visit Wagner. Noem wanted to learn the student’s perspective on JAG.

Vikings team coaches are: Art Standing Cloud, Mike Frei and Volunteer Coach Matt Knudsen. Team members are: Damien Red Lightning, Brannon Bruguier, Benny Greger, Carlos Galindo, Lane Havranek, Robert Frei, Russell Standing Cloud, Alex Reiter, Jacob Standing Cloud and Gregory Turner Jr.

Hebrews 11:1 "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things unseen" (KJV) Faith is another word for "believing". It is something you cannot see or touch, but it is real in your heart. The word "faith" is used 428 times in the Bible.

Buche Foods announces the expansion of the meat department to their store in Wagner along with Certified Angus Beef. “We are grinding fresh burger 2-3 times a day, 7 days a week and plan to be open nearly 365 days per year!” said Dave Hewitt, the Meat Department Manager of Buche Foods.

Every once in a while, you experience one of those occasions where you stop to appreciate how blessed you are. Our family had one of those times recently when our oldest daughter, Brittany, was inducted into her collegiate hall of fame.

Greer Unit #11 American Legion Auxiliary met on September 19, 2019 at the Post home with 12 members present and one guest. President Juanita Stone called the meeting to order. Chaplain Margie Stone opened with prayer from the Legionette.

Before any veteran or family member can obtain any benefits or services from the United States Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), he or she must produce a copy of their discharge or DD-214. For National Guard soldiers the discharge form is an NGB 22.

Charles Mix Electric Association of Lake Andes is proud to announce that Callie Frei has been chosen as a “Touchstone Energy Scholar of the Week” by KSFY-TV. Callie is a senior at Wagner Community School.
