Greer Unit #11 American Legion Auxiliary met on September 19, 2019 at the Post home with 12 members present and one guest. President Juanita Stone called the meeting to order. Chaplain Margie Stone opened with prayer from the Legionette. The Pledge of Allegiance and the American Legion Auxiliary Preamble were recited by all. Secretary Bonnie Soukup read the minutes of the previous meeting, which were approved as read. Linda Youngbluth gave the treasurer’s report, which was approved.

Bills were presented by Linda Youngbluth and a motion to pay was approved and seconded. Correspondence was read by Linda Youngbluth. Community Service Chairman, Margie Stone reported appropriate cards had been sent. Membership was reported that we have 28 paid members. Goal is 84.

No unfinished business reported. New business of the Cancer Rummage in October, Dictionaries for the schools, ordering poppies – a motion was made and carried. Our obligations were made and a motion was to add, and motion was carried. A thank you was given to Margie Stone for donating the quarter basket back to the Child Welfare Foundation.

No further business was brought forth from the meeting. Chaplain Margie Stone read the prayer for peace, President Juanita Stone adjourned the meeting.
