The Charles Mix Saddle Club held their annual Northern Bull Riding Tour Finals in Geddes on Saturday, September 12 . Colt Florey and Philip Kafka did a great job of protecting the riders at the event . Local riders Tom and Frank Krcil joined in the steer riding competition . Great job everyone!

Huron, Aug. 24, 2020 - The Trump Administration today announced that the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) is investing $352,400 in Lake Andes-Ravinia Rural Fire Protection District and Perkins County to upgrade equipment, benefitting more than 5,400 rural residents in South Dakota.

It’s a bird, it’s a plane, no wait.....those are powered parachutes!!! If you didn’t see them flying over head on August 10th, you missed it. A very nice group of people came to our town’s LA-X (Lake Andes) airport.
