BLOOD DRIVE RESULTS

The LifeServe Blood Center blood drive in Wagner on Monday, November 22nd, had a fantastic turn-out! 41 donors registered and 43 units of life saving blood was donated. Thank you to everyone that came out to help boost the LOCAL blood supply!

Rotary News

The day before Thanksgiving, November 24th the Wagner Rotary Club met for its weekly meeting. The President rang the bell and announced, “A Happy Thanksgiving to All.” Guests were introduced by Kathe Henke who brought her good friend Karen Schneider from Pickstown.

I love Thanksgiving. I love preparing the food all day and enjoying it while sitting around a table with some of the people I love most. And there is one holiday tradition that I have grown to adore. As we sit down to eat, we share one thing we feel grateful for this year.

Library news

The New Year will be bringing back the Lake Andes Library Book Club. We stopped meeting when the COVID pandemic made it unsafe to meet. Plans right now are to start meeting in January 2022 to discuss the first selection. If you are interested, please contact the library for more information.
