HIGHWAY 18 BETWEEN LAKE ANDES AND PICKSTOWN IS OPEN

The detour restriction on U.S.Highway 18 has been lifted.Motorists can now access North Point State Recreation Area via U.S.Highway 18.Motorists should be aware that there is temporary surfacing on the new grade section of roadway and the speed limit is currently reduced to 55 mph in this area.

MADILYN JANIS WINS PHR TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP

Jack Mattis, Cale Cleveland and Madilyn Janis received an invitation to compete at the Minnesota Twins Team Championship. Madilyn Janis won the Team Championship for the MLB Pitch, Hit and Run. She competed in the 13/14 girls Softball category.
