FREE MOVIE EVENTS FOR OLDER ADULTS AND THEIR CAREGIVERS

The Older Adult Resource Network (OARN), a program of LSS of South Dakota serving Douglas, Charles Mix, Hutchinson, and Bon Homme counties, invites area older adults (ages 55 and up) and their caregivers to one of three free movie showings this November.

YES. South Dakota is ranked No. 1 in the nation for the percentage of its energy that is produced by renewable sources. The state’s share of clean-energy production is 92% as of 2024, up from 70% in 2023. Iowa is second (83%) and Kansas third (74%).

This week's recipe falls somewhere between breakfast and dessert. I feel better feeding my kids a homemade muffin than many other storebought breakfast options, but they are also great on a cool afternoon with a cup of coffee!
