10 Years Ago – 2014 The Two Wheel Wonders were 2014 champions of The Dakota Senior Meals Wheelchair Basketball Tournament defeating the Hot Wheels 20-14. Corn was $3.67; beans $12.60; and winter wheat was $6.32.

American Legion Greer Post #11 held its monthly meeting on February 15, 2024 with 25 members in attendance. Commander Clayton Rados thanked the cooks for the delicious meal. Chaplain Don Kotab gave the invocation which was followed by the Pledge of Allegiance.

R.F. Buche is excited to announce the opening of Gus Stop, April 2nd, at the former Abby’s location in Pickstown. The property was bought this past September and is currently being remodeled to accommodate an expanded Gus Stop convenience store, 24/7 gas pumps and more.

10 Years Ago – 2014 Rebecca Lehman, Alexandra Dvorak, Payton Johanneson, Megan Kocer, Ayiana Jack, Margaret Doom, Bobbi Jo Soukup, Kimberly Koupal, and Cara Finck were the 2014 candidates for the military ball. Zach and Alison Zephier welcomed a son, Zavier James.
