The 605 Unity Team is working on the final parts involved with hosting the 4th Annual 605 Unity Jam, that will be held on Sunday, June 9 at the Wagner Lake in Wagner, S.D..

The Department of Veterans Affairs plans to expand eli¬gibility for Agent Orange disability benefits to Vietnam-era veterans who served at 129 locations in the U.S. during spe¬cific time frames, as well as parts of Canada and India, of¬ficials announced.

Wagner Community Memorial Hospital - Avera Auxiliary held their monthly meeting April 24, with six members present. President Pearl Weber called the meeting to order and members read the Auxiliary Prayer in unison. Minutes of the last meeting were read and approved.

President Elect Jordan Weber rang the Rotary Bell with a ferocious whack of the bell that brought everyone to attention immediately! He won’t need any lessons on bell ringing in the future.

10 Years Ago – 2014 The Wagner community held its annual Easter Egg hunt. Patty Frei was the newest member of the Wagner Rotary Club. Jerry Henke won the Paul Harris Fellow award. Kathleen Juffer and Jacob Kucera were featured in the WCS senior spotlights.

A new type of event will debut in Wagner in early May. Wagner Area Growth is sponsoring “Wagner Craft Crawl and More” on Saturday, May 4, from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. A craft crawl is similar to a citywide rummage sale but features crafts, food, and other items.
