It cost $4 per person for the dance and $1 per person to watch the grand march. The dance was put on bytheAvonMusicDepartment. Autumn Schulz commented, “We are very lucky that a lot of effort that goes into making this community event happen is taken off of our shoulders. The Juniors allow us to utilize the gym for this dance using the same decorationstheyusedforprom. This in itself takes hours and hours of work off of my to-do list. Since it is a fundraiser for our Music Department we also have the high school choir and band members sign up to bring drinks and treats for the event. Thanks to everyone that makes this all work, including my great coworker Mataya Larsgaard, our awesome DJ Matthew Grant, and people thatvolunteeredtotaketickets including Jennie Leibel, Mylie Bares, andWhitneyPodzimek. We also appreciate the Cahoy family for letting us use their lights and Gregg Voigt and ShariTjeersdmaforhelpingus clean up the gym afterwards.
