AVON ELEMENTARY STUDENTS VISIT AVON FIRE DEPARTMENT

Preschool through sixth grade students visited the Avon Fire Hall Thursday, October 12th in honor of Fire Prevention Week. They took a tour of the fire hall and the new rescue truck. Local volunteer fire fighters talked to them about fire prevention and smoke alarms and demonstrated how they cut apart a car using the jaws off life tool.
