Funeral services for Nytalia Ashes of Sioux Falls were held Saturday, September 25 at the National Guard Armory in Wagner. Burial was in the Little Fish Cemetery, rural Dante. Wake services were Thursday at the Armory. Peters Funeral Home in Wagner was in charge of arrangements.

Funeral services for LeRoy Brandt were held Saturday, September 11 at the First Baptist Church in Avon. While the family greatly appreciates the gift of flowers and plants, memorial donations are preferred, which will be distributed among LeRoy’s favorite charitable organizations.

Nanci Lee Timmins of Mitchell passed away peacefully surrounded by family at the Dougherty Hospice House in Sioux Falls on September 17. Funeral services were Saturday, September 25 at Trinity Lutheran Church. Will Funeral Chapel was in charge of arrangements. Burial was in Graceland Cemetery.

Harold “Babe” Steele, 67, went to his heavenly home Saturday, September 11 at Sanford Hospital in Sioux Falls. There will be a private, family service held at a later date. Harold "Babe" Steele was born February 21, 1954 to Harold C. and Evelyn (Hermanek) Steele in Wagner.

Visitation for Jane Winckler will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. at Goglin Funeral Home in Tyndall on Saturday, September 25. Jane Winckler was born September 16, 1937 to Steven and Elizabeth (Tischler) Weiss in Parkston.

Charles Lukkes of Federal Way, Washington went to be with the Lord on September 5, 2021 after a long illness. He was born January 19, 1936 in Springfield to Henry and Ruth Lukkes of Avon. Chuck graduated from Avon High School; he served in the National Guard.

AXEL ANDERSH

Axel Lee Andersh, four month old child of Kyle and Chelsea (Barr) Andersh was born April 15, 2021 at Yankton. He died Saturday, September 11, 2021 at his home in Wagner. Axel was always smiling and giggling. He loved to be rocked and snuggled. He was a very happy baby.

RODNEY HARTLEY

Funeral services for Rodney Hartley were Thursday, September 16 at the All Tribes Fellowship Church in Wagner. Rodney Richard Hartley was born June 11, 1955 in Wagner to Joseph and Arvella (Punk Greger) Hartley. He passed away on September 11, 2021 at Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls.
