Charles Lukkes of Federal Way, Washington went to be with the Lord on September 5, 2021 after a long illness. He was born January 19, 1936 in Springfield to Henry and Ruth Lukkes of Avon.

Chuck graduated from Avon High School; he served in the National Guard. He worked on TV repair in Avon and worked for Elmer Carl TV out of Gregory. He later moved to Kent, Washington and went to work for The Boeing Company. He retired from the Boeing Company in Kent, WA working in Micro Electronics with 29 years of service. Chuck enjoyed reading and traveling and family reunions. He is preceded in death by his parents Henry and Ruth Lukkes, brothers Kenneth and Donald. He leaves behind his wife Arlianne of Federal Way, WA, son Jamison Lukkes of Seattle, daughter Patricia Smith and grandson Isaac of Middletown, NY. Stepchildren Gary Rhine (Sarah), Kraig Rhine (Dee), Roxanne Roles (Gary) of Washington State, 6 grandchildren and 4 Great grandchildren. Brothers Ted (Carol) of Pasco, WA, Robert (Mary) of Weslaco, TX, Richard (Rene) of Greenfield, IN and many nieces and nephews. Chuck has a current subscription to the Avon Clarion. He kept in touch with many old friends from South Dakota. Chuck will be missed and was loved by many.
